Sie war außerdem beteiligt an verschiedenen Projekten zu Umweltdesign und Umweltbildung wie The Garden of Rentaroh Taki Memorial House und Preserving 100 Soundscapes of Japan. Sie war Co-Übersetzerin von R. Murray Schafers The Tuning of the World (1987) und Sound Education (1992) und schrieb ihr eigenes Buch auf Japanisch, Soundscape: the thought and practices.
